Using this forum as an opportunity, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety held a director-level cooperation meeting with the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (Japanese Cosmetics Regulatory Agency, MHLW) and the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device General Organization (Cosmetics Review and Assessment Agency, PMDA) to discuss the cosmetic safety management regulatory policies of both countries. We plan to share and discuss mutual cooperation measures such as exchange of safety assessment technology.
